During the wintertime she was so elegantly dressed
In snow white in snow white she appeared in her elegance

No wonder that the Northern lights
Used to yoik the little beautiful Island

During the summertime she was no less elegant
The rainbow was then her jewellery

No wonder that the wawes of the Polar ocean
Used to caress that little beautiful Island

Wonderful people were having their homes on her
Numerous people numerous people lived on her
